What we’re looking for:
Think you or your company is making a significant contribution to IP protection in the life sciences industries and have what it takes to win? Here's what we're looking for:
- Achievement evidence: Highlight initiatives and accomplishments that occurred predominantly within the 14 months leading up to the awards deadline.
- Testimonials: We value endorsements from colleagues, clients, and market peers, offering a holistic perspective on the nominee’s achievements.
- Supporting materials: Feel free to include materials that provide evidence of performance or other relevant factors bolstering your entry
Key FAQs:
1. Who can enter the awards?
The Awards are open to both companies and individuals who can meet the criteria of the category/categories they wish to enter.
2. Do you need to pay to enter?
Entering the Awards is free of charge. Please note that you must have permission from the nominee in order to enter them.
3. How do I enter?
Nominations for the 2025 awards are now closed. Nominations for the 2026 awards will open in summer 2025 with the deadline to enter being in late October 2025.
4. Do I need to be based in the USA to enter the Awards?
Entrants do not need to be based in the US but would ideally be able to attend the Awards ceremony in Boston.
5. How do I/my company enter more than one category?
Our new online nomination platform will allow you to enter as many categories as you wish.
6. What is the deadline for nominations?
The deadline for nominations is Friday January 31st at midnight EST.
7. How will the winners be decided?
LSPN has gathered together a panel of expert industry judges, details of whom will be released shortly on the Awards website. All the awards categories will be judged using a points-based scoring system followed by a discussion amongst the judges to decide the winner per category.
8. When will we find out about the winners?
The winners will be unveiled at a glittering evening Awards ceremony in Boston on May 6, where 200+ people will convene for the life sciences IP networking event of the year. The shortlist for the awards will be announced on Friday February 28th 2025.
9. How do I buy a ticket to attend the Awards ceremony?
In order to attend the Awards ceremony in Boston you will need to purchase a table or be invited to join a table. Tables of 10 are available to purchase. Please contact Kirsty Pocock at kpocock@newtonmedia.co.uk for further details.
10. When and where will the awards take place?
The Awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in central Boston. More details will be released soon.
11. How can I sponsor the awards?
We have a range of sponsorship opportunities available to suit all budgets. Please contact Kirsty Pocock at kpocock@newtonmedia.co.uk who will be able to discuss the various opportunities available.
Terms & Conditions:
All entries for the LSPN Awards USA 2025 must be examples of work carried out in the 14 months leading up to the awards submission deadline unless stated differently in the category description. Work that has been produced specifically for the awards will not be accepted. All examples submitted must be an accurate representation of the original and must not be altered in any way to affect the judge’s decision. Entries are welcomed from any individual, company or team, or the departments of any International company or organisation providing that they meet the criteria for the category they are entering. Communications / PR agencies or consultancies may only enter on behalf of their organisation. Communications / PR agencies or consultancies may enter work produced on behalf of a client - but only the client name will be accepted as the entrant in this case.
NB. Do not use this as a publicity stunt. These awards are to celebrate excellence in life sciences IP. Please ensure the appropriate department works closely on the submission to ensure its technical accuracy.
